ALBA BERLIN already passed 19 seasons now and could look back satisfiedly to its 15 titles. But one of ALBA’s qualities has always been to look straight forward on to the next and even greater challenges. This is alsotrue for the new season, where the Albatross have to start the season in the Qualification round to get a spot in the Euroleague.

Last season ALBA packed to the modern o2 World with more than 10.000 spectators each game und reached the Top16. The Euroleague honoured this by giving ALBA a wild card for the qualification round.
As ALBA dropped out in the semifinals 2008/2009 in a five-game-series against Telekom Baskets Bonn, the German capital's club now fights even harder to get the championship back to Berlin.
