Bryce Taylor wuchs als Sohn des früheren NBA-Spielers Brian Taylor (1972–1982) von klein auf in eine Basketballkarriere hinein, die ihn nach den Stationen in der US-College-Liga NCAA (Oregon), der italienischen Serie A (Montegranaro) und dem Bundesligisten Telekom Baskets Bonn 2010 zu ALBA BERLIN führte. Zunächst nur auf Probe verpflichtet, begeisterte der Flügelspieler im Laufe der Saison so sehr – und das nicht nur mit seinen extrem spektakulären Korbaktionen – dass ALBA seinen Vertrag nur zu gerne verlängerte. In der kommenden Saison will der Shooting Guard und Publikumsliebling, der mit seiner großen Athletik und Vielseitigkeit auch auf der Position drei spielen kann, für ALBA an seine starke Form aus den Playoffs anknüpfen.

Being the son of the earlier NBA player Brian Taylor (1972—1982), Bryce Taylor’s basketball career started at a young age, carried him through stations in the NCAA (University of Oregon), the Italian Serie A (Montegranaro), Bundesliga team Telekom Baskets Bonn, and finally to ALBA BERLIN in 2010. Although he was offered just a trial contract in the beginning, the wing player captured the fans during the season so much — and not only through his extremely spectacular baskets — that ALBA was happy to extend his contract for another year. In this coming season the shooting guard and crowd favorite hopes to use his athletic ability and versatility to continue his strong play that he showed during last season’s playoffs.
