Malte ist in Berlin geboren und kam 2012 ins ALBA-Programm. Nach Verletzungen wichtiger Profispieler wurde er bereits in der vorigen Saison häufig eingesetzt. Diese Chance nutzte der U20-Nationalspieler so beeindruckend, dass die BBL-Coaches ihn unter die drei besten Nachwuchsspieler der Liga wählten. Mit seiner beherzten Spielweise entwickelte sich der 1,97 Meter große Guard zu einem festen Bestandteil des Teams und unterzeichnete für diese Saison seinen ersten Profivertrag, der ihn bis 2025 an ALBA bindet. Mit einer Doppellizenz kann der erst 20-Jährige auch den Kooperationspartner LOK BERNAU verstärken.

Malte was born in Berlin and joined the ALBA program in 2012. When important players were injured in the previous season, he found his place in the senior team. The U20 national player seized this opportunity so impressively that the BBL coaches named him one of the best three young players of the season. With his courageous style of playing, the 1.97m tall guard developed into an integral part of the team. His first professional contract ties him to ALBA until 2025. At the age of only 20 he has still got a double license and can thus support cooperation partner LOK BERNAU as well.
