Drei Meistertitel und zwei Pokalsiege: für einen erst im Jahr 2001 geborenen Spieler eine amtliche Bilanz. Malte kam durch ALBAs Schulprogramm auf die Idee, es mit Basketball zu versuchen. Von der U12 an durchlief er dann alle Stationen der ALBA JUGEND, spielte für den Kooperationspartner LOK BERNAU in der ProB und absolvierte unter Coach Aíto schon mit 18 seine ersten ALBA-Minuten in der BBL. Mit seiner beherzten Spielweise wurde der 1,97 Meter große Flügelspieler schnell zu einem festen Bestandteil des Teams. Maltes Talent ist einfach unübersehbar: Die BBL-Coaches wählten ihn 2021 und 2022 jeweils unter die besten drei Nachwuchsspieler der Liga.

Starting with the U12, he went through all the stages of ALBA JUGEND, played for ALBA's cooperation partner LOK BERNAU in the ProB and, at the age of 18, saw his first ALBA minutes in the BBL under Coach Aíto. With his spirited style of playing, the 1.97 meter tall wing quickly became an integral part of the team. There is simply no mistaking Malte's talent: The BBL coaches voted him one of the league's top three young players in both 2021 and 2022.
