Seine emotionalste Saison erlebte Jayson dabei im Vorjahr: Gleich im ersten Saisonspiel zog er sich einen Achillessehnenriss zu und fiel für lange Zeit aus, feierte aber beim Finalturnier Ende Juni ein überzeugendes Comeback und wurde mit Baskonia spanischer Meister.

As the son of a US American professional basketball player and a Uruguayan track and field athlete, Jayson Granger started his basketball career in his hometown of Montevideo. At age 16, he was discovered by Liga ABC club Estudiantes Madrid where he played until 2013. Aged 31 now, the Uruguayan Point Guard brings with him 13 years of experience as a EuroLeague player for Malaga, Efes Istanbul and Vitoria. Last year, Jayson went through his most emotional season yet: After rupturing his Achilles tendon in the opening game, he was not able to play for a long time only to make a big comeback in the Spanish League final tournament at the end of June, winning the Spanish championship with Baskonia.
