Doch er hat nicht nur ein gutes Timing für Blocks: Unter Coach Aíto und Israel González entwickelte sich der athletische und reboundstarke Big Man gleich in der ersten Saison zu einem gefährlichen Angreifer. Studiert hat er übrigens Maschinenbau und Roboterprogrammierung an der Georgia Tech University in Atlanta.
