Maodo findet immer zum Korb, egal wie viele Gegner er auf dem Weg dorthin austanzen muss. In ähnlichen Schlangenlinien verlief auch seine bisherige Karriere. Geboren in Charlottenburg spielte er für Central Hoops, studierte dann an der New Yorker Columbia University und kam nach Gastspielen in Bamberg und München endlich nach Berlin zurück. Mit seiner Kreativität passt er als schneller und eleganter Guard perfekt in ALBAs Spielsystem. Die Fans begeistert er mit seinen kaum zu verteidigenden Tempo- und Richtungswechseln. Und nach dem Gewinn des Doubles mit ALBA in der letzten Saison dirigierte er das deutsche Nationalteam als Spielmacher neben Dennis Schröder zu EM-Bronze in seiner Heimatstadt.

Born in Berlin-Charlottenburg, he first played for Central Hoops, then studied at New York's Columbia University before finally returning to Berlin after stints in Bamberg and Munich.
