Jaleen weckte 2021 als BBL-MVP mit seinem Wechsel zu ALBA höchste Erwartungen, die er vor allem in der zweiten Saisonhälfte mehr als erfüllte. In den Playoffs entwickelte sich der defensivstarke Combo Guard sogar zu ALBAs Topscorer. An beiden Enden des Feldes agil und nimmermüde – das erkannte im Sommer auch der kroatische Basketballverband und engagierte den bis dahin nur in den USA und in Deutschland (vor ALBA mit Heidelberg und Ludwigsburg) aktiven Texaner zur Verstärkung bei der EuroBasket. Auch als Kroatiens bester Passgeber und zweitbester Scorer konnte Jaleen allerdings das knappe EM-Aus gegen Finnland im Achtelfinale nicht verhindern.

Jaleen raised very high expectations when he joined ALBA as BBL MVP in 2021, and he more than fulfilled them, especially in the second half of the season. In the playoffs, the combo guard with the strong defense even developed into ALBA's top scorer. Agile and tireless at both ends of the court – something which was also recognized by the Croatian Basketball Federation this summer. Consequently, the Texan, who had previously only been active in the USA and Germany (before ALBA with Heidelberg and Ludwigsburg), was engaged as a reinforcement for the Croatian national team at this year's EuroBasket. However, even as their best passer and second-best scorer, Jaleen was unable to prevent Croatia's very narrow European Championship exit against Finland in the round of the last sixteen.
