Nach zwei Saisons im ALBA-Trikot hat Jaleen Smith von einer Ausstiegsoption in seinem Dreijahresvertrag Gebrauch gemacht und wechselt zu EuroLeague-Team Virtus Bologna. Jaleen Smith: "These last two years at ALBA have been amazing. I can't thank Himar, Israel, all the coaches and everybody involved enough for bringing me to Berlin. When I played against ALBA in Ludwisburg I always saw myself playing in that system, but I never thought I would actually be a part of it. It helped me grow as a player on the court, but also off the court. And Berlin as a city is just so amazing. I can't believe I'm leaving Berlin and Germany after six years. It's going to be something totally different going to Italy but I'm excited for the new challenge. I want to thank the fans and everybody that supported me. It was one hell of a ride and I wouldn't trade it for anything."
